I write under the pen name Tim Taurit (explained below), but my real-world name is Paweł Bulwan 🙂
I live in Warsaw, the capital of Poland. I’m a software developer who has been lucky to have worked in several cool companies here.
I’m currently experimenting with my career path a bit. Recently, I’ve been working on a startup called Flashcard Space that helps students quickly learn new language vocabulary. I hope to share more progress about this project soon, but the posts you can read here recently are already a side-effect of all the effort that goes into it.

Pen name and why I use it
I sign the content I create with the name Tim Taurit. I chose it some time ago to simplify my internet presence. Back then, I used multiple nicknames and handles on social media without much consistency and felt it was confusing.
Originally, “Taurit” was the name of my sole proprietorship, a combination of the words Taurus and IT. I have been using the taurit.pl domain to host my professional blog and my email address for a long time. So, I decided to stick to this brand. So now, I consistently use the pen name Tim Taurit.
